I too had a voucher - covered a full head colour and half head of foils plus a cut and blowdry.
girl left on her own was from India, two years only training, definitely under qualified, kept ringing their other hair salon for advice. didnt do the full head colour before the half head of foils, so got half colour which I demanded, half head of foils, and then had the cheek to want to charge me more. I did not pay. and I stopped her cutting because it was appalling. had it cut elsewhere and the professional hairdresser who cut it was appalled too. I explained it all, and where and she knew the reputation.
Wish I had read reviews before buying a Scoopon for this place. Called about 10 different times and no answer any of those times, left messages each time with my contact number and not a single callback so now I've just wasted money on this voucher. After reading the reviews of people who did get their hair done here and weren't happy with it, not worth using it even if they ever do answer their phone! Extremely disappointing. Hopefully people don't make my mistake and look at these reviews before purchasing a voucher next time.
I used a $45 Scoopon that included a cut, colour, blow dry and straighten. The hair dresser is very shy and quiet. There needed to be music or TV's so it didn't feel like such a boring experience. I didn't walk out the salon feeling like I was pampered and refreshed like I should of. At the end of the day my hair did came out fine but the atmosphere is why I wont go back again. I now know it is best to stay with a hair stylist who cares and makes you look and feel amazing.
