Against my better judgement thought I'd give their used car section another go as they had a Challenger for sale we were interested in. Had an issue previously with poor service when we went to buy a Falcon. Ended up buying a Falcon off Oldmac at Springwood due to Oldmacs far superior customer service and a better vehicle. (Toowong Mitsubishi's G6 had a burning smell when we test drove it.) If you have a trade in and dont want to be insulted dont go near this mob. Offered $8K on a car we purchased new from Toowong Kia 8 months prior. Dealer at Rocklea was defensive and rude. Sure, they are entitled to offer nothing for your trade but don't accept their valuation. Get several appraisals. Even better stick with Oldmac, Zupps or sellmycar.com.au if you want a decent appraisal and superior service.
After over 16 years of using this dealer I recently had a very unsatisfactory outcome after buying a new Mitsubishi challenger. Blemish on my paintwork within 12 months of purchase. I Notified the dealer to review and submit for warranty as part of the Service in November 2015. Didn't hear anything for a few months. Phoned and told it hasn't been submitted and I would have to bring the car in again. I did at the next service. Didn't hear anything again for a few months. Phoned and told again that there had been an error and I would need to do it next service. Submission finally occurred in January 2017. Mitsubishi rejected the blemish as none warranty. Recommended I pursue the dealer as if the request had been made at the original date it may have been covered. Poor service, and disappointing that the paintwork appears not to be of the quality of the first challenger I had for 17 years. I won't by a Mitsubishi again or use Mitsubishi Toowong again.
Just thought I might share my recent experience with all the people who use google search regarding Toowong Mitsubishi.
Seems that these guys don't want to sell cars......sent an online inquiry through on Saturday 22nd for a car they had listed for sale on carsales. Got a call that day from Dallin from Toowong Mitsubishi to follow up, which was good, I let him know about the type of cars I was interested in and let him know about a possible trade in I had. Dallin told me he would get back to me on Monday 24th.... unfortunately I did not get a call from him on Monday....strangely though I did get an email at around 3pm that Monday from Tracey there "customer relations manager" asking if my email was a good email to send info too (not to sure what that was about) anyway I replied to the email letting her know that yes its a good email (I guess its good as it is my email) I then got a second email about an hour and a half later ...read more
