Totally Outdoors

Last year in December my dad called them up for a quote on verandah, patio and carport. The job was over 50K. They came down took the measures, in meantime requested deposit of over 2K. Few weeks down the track they said the job cannot be continued due to easement, my dad said no worries than give me my deposit back. You would think a company would refund you the deposit as all they did was a quote. But nope, not these guys. They never gave dad his 2K back. They gave him some rubbish excuse why he isn’t entitled a list of their charges. They charged him for quote, meeting in their office (which they requested, wanted my dad to come down) etc. Those charges don’t make any sense, the dates listed are going back few years ago. Totally Outdoors take no responsibility for their material suppliers complete disregard for delivery timeframes and customer needs. I was recently left out of pocket and with a weeks annual leave almost totally wasted thanks to what Totally Outdoors called a mix-up. I lost further time due to delivery of incorrect components, which was initially blamed on the supplier. I was eventually told to contact the supplier myself who informed me that Totally Outdoors had ordered the incorrect component. Nobody wanted to take responsibility.

Lee, Mark, Rick, Gary and Brendan were all fantastic to deal with and we absolutely love our new rotating roof veranda. Right from the initial drawing stage (fantastic quality images) to the end completion, Totally Outdoors were totally professional and kept us posted on a day to day basis regarding construction and when it would be completed. Following our meeting, he very promptly provided us with professional drawings and a quotation which perfectly matched our requirements. The job is now done and we are really happy! The workmanship by Brendan and Gary is top class. We have had many a projects done previously to compare with, with this being the most successful. The outdoor area is simply wonderful, and the action of the Eclipse Louvre Roof is very nice. The Merbau timber is what we wanted, and the combination of the cream capping just finishes it off in harmony to the rest of the home.
