It's changed ownership but seems to have kept the same recipes!!! Still the best date scones in Brisbane, great selection of cakes and a lovely little hot food section, the sausage rolls are yummy!

The coffee isn't the best but the hot food and cakes are delicious...I highly recommend the date scones, they are the best I've ever eaten. Dine in or take away but be sure you get in quick as if you're there after 2pm you might find all the food has been sold!!

I arrived just before closing on Saturday (open until 2PM Saturdays). I was served quickly and told in thorough detail, what sells best and some of the ingredients that set their cakes apart. End of day specials included cream buns, breads & crossaints reduced to clear for $150 a bag. I ordered the apple-berry pie and the strawberry custard cakes. Both were lovely.
