If you are reading this to hear something good Stop Now. I have been in a transtate home for almost 6 years now and I am speaking for my self and another who sold there Transtate home in 2 years due the the shoddy workmanship (wish I could afford to). When it rains there is more water in the house than out (this has happened from day 1). The floor in the hall is buckled and kick boards coming away due the shower not being sealed properly (noticed within 2 months of moving in). The paint work is dreadful and have had electrician in due to things like even turning on a light goes through the TV and doggy down light. Had my son in law fix the cornices in the house in the first 6 months as they were falling and that is just inside - don't let me start on the outside. Once they have you sign the contract the don't contact you - you have to call them and don't expected them to turn up to do the fix up 3 months later because both myself and my friend never saw ...read more

We've had a home built by this mob as well and it's full of poor workmanship. Did you take your matter to court?
No - I should have taken legal's but with my finances I could not afford it. Just have had to slowly fix things as I can afford it. I would not even ask Transtate to build a cubby for my grandkids.
