I have been using Trentec for 10 years as my mechanic for service and repairs. We've taken all of our 5 previous and current cars there as well as my mother-in-laws car. Trent and his team are always reliable and honest, they will always call and let you know anything that needs to be done with a price before they do it. Also friendly useful advice over the phone when a small problem arises. I'd highly recommend them for any repairs and service.

prices were good but when we had them replace a clutch in our subaru they put in a cheap clutch, we took it back the next day because there was no pedal feel anymore , they said it was all good. this was two years ago but now we are faced with a $1500 bill for a new clutch.
Subaru checked it out and said they fitted a cheap clutch, and did not change the thrust bearing (which is very noisy now).
When you pay for replacement of a clutch kit (as stated in their invoice) you expect the whole kit to be fitted and to be of reasonable quality.
Never go there again :(
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO CONTACT US WHEN YOU DID HAVE A PROBLEM BEFORE GIVING US A BAD REVIEW. WE DO WARRANT OUR WORK AND I ASSURE YOU A NEW SPIGOT BEARING WAS FITTED. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO CHALLENGE IF ANYONE COULD TELL AFTER TWO YEARS IF THE SPIGOT BEARING HAD BEEN REPLACED IN A CLUTCH ENVIRONMENT. FROM MEMORY, DUE TP THE FACT YOU HAVENT CONTACTED ME, YOU OPTED FOR A STANDARD CLUTCH KIT AT THE TIME
As stated we returned the car the next day and were told its fine. Pedal feel was non existant after clutch replacement, and bearing noise started not long after.
I am not saying you are bad mechanics but my clutch had issues.
Subaru Osborne park checked it out, if you have a problem with that contact them.
PARTS ALSO CARRY WARRANTY SO IF SOMETHING HAD FAILED THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN REPAIRED. I JUST FIND IT SAD THAT INSTEAD OF COMING IN AND TALKING TO ME YOU HAD TO BAD MOUTH MY BUSINESS ONLINE. CLEARLY YOU DIDNT WANT YOUR CAR REPAIRED. ALSO I DO FIND THAT 2 YEARS DOWN THE TRACK IS A FAIR CALL FOR WARRANTY ON A CLUTCH KIT ESPECIALLY IN A PERFORMANCE CAR LIKE YOURS, FROM MEMORY.
