Overall this restaurant was good, I would go back there to eat again
-Service was very average to start, they lost our reservation but did find us a good table, it took about an hour by the time drinks / starters were ordered (and they weren't busy) the main menu as better handled, especially considering there was only one waitress towards the end
The food on average was good, my bruschetta and veal were cooked to perfection but the garlic bread was partially burnt. Meal sizes were good
The atmosphere was very good, the tables were set out well, everyone had enough room without feeling like there was too much space or people were squished, the colour scheme / decorations etc created a professional, comfortable environment
The meals were reasonably priced and in line with the quality provided
the minestrone was nice & authentic.
the garlic bread was good.
I asked for a med rare & got well done for a rib eye! It was as tough as old boots! The mushroom sauce needed more flavour & needed to cook & reduce in the sauce. Not pleasant at all. The trout was cooked nicely but too much spinach made it watery through the flesh of the fish.
Service was friendly, the wine good yet could do with more range.
Ill go back to try the lasagne next time.
