Turf Bar and Restaurant is a place that has a little bit of everything. It is the local bar for the legal crowd but it is also a relaxing irish style pub for those who want to enjoy the sports on the big screen. History buffs will enjoy their displays on the 'great bookie robbery' of which occurred on their premises in 1976. They have a variety of specialty nights (Mad Cow Mondays and Parmageddon Wednesdays) and their sandard menu offers all the classic pub food one would expect to find.

Just your average pub with weekly specials. Being a big fan of chicken parmas, I went here on a Wednesday to try their $15 parma. As always, most parmas don't disappoint but neither was it impressive. It was very average to be honest, but for $15 I can't really complain. The atmosphere here was very lively and it felt like a good place to hang out and have a casual dinner with friends. I'd like to go back on the weekend and try out the wings.
The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. You can go there and watch your favourite teams on the big TV screens.
I like this pub a lot, because it is full of people every evening. If you are not an easy-going person, social or talkative at all.. this place won't be the best choice for you.
