After successfully shopping for wool we ran in here because it started raining and we were cold and needed some warming up.
Which was delivered in the form of wonderfully yummy coffee for me and a long island iced tea for my girlfriend.
I also ate some of the bruschetta pizza which was scrumptious. And enough to share.
Also a great way to hide from the wet season - the staff are smiley and on hand when you need them and off hand when you don't.
Bear in mind that they don't do split bills over the weekends!!
A great restaurant for a group, the food is high quality. Sometimes the service is questionable but the food generally very good. Can get noisy on busy nights. My mates rave about the pizzas here. It's a great location on King Street and it's a brilliant place to people watch if you're near the window.
I first visited Twelve at Newtown many years back, but it is only this weekend that my friends and I finally decided to drop by this restaurant for lunch.
