I've been to Urban Archery a few times and have always had to wait an average of 20 minutes before being acknowledged let alone being served. One of my purchases was a compound bow which after 3 weeks of light usage snapped. They claimed it was "user error" although I've never had any issue with my draw technique and have credible witnesses who can verify this. Under Australian consumer law the product was unsafe for which I had a right to a refund but they refused. Why would anyone shop at a store that doesn't do what's right by its (former) customers?
I Spent hours with this capable team selecting the right bow and equipment for me. They have over 30 years of experience between them, and therefore really know their stuff. They afford best advice from a professional level and stock plenty of optional gear for the novice. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for best advice. By the way, don't let the look of the shop fool you. Good luck.
Whether you are New to the sport or a pro shooter urban archery is the place to go! Their prices are more than competitive and the after sales support is second to none! I personally have have had numerous maintenance done on the bows i have purchased there and been blown away when told "there is no charge"! I have even begged pay something only to be told there is no need, it's part of the service! Who else does that? If it wasn't for urban archery, the sport i love so much may have gone by the wayside. I have always been made to feel welcome and put at ease when asking (sometimes stupid) novice questions. A sincere "thank you" to Marcus and Karina for all your continued support and advice! Don't be a fool and shop at urban archery for all your gear. A must for the New archer who needs that support. Murray
I love going into this shop! While it does cater for people who want to shoot frequently, This is what is great about the shop! They can answer any question you have about the sport, and stress the fact that this is a serious and expensive sport, and not for the casual "i only want to shoot once a year" kind of people - archery is not like other sports where is only costs a few $ to get set up!!!
They are also very serious when it comes to the legal side of shooting. They will not sell to people who they feel will break the law, especially if they mention anything about hunting protected animals. ...read more
