Urban Pizza Project

Appalling. Notwithstanding the quite untraditional and dull sandwich bread-like base, I requested twice that my 'Super' Special be prepared without anchovies (I have a mild allergy) and the waitress taking the order confirmed this back. If you're reading this you're doubtless unsurprised the cook either hadn't bothered to read the order, or simply ignored the request, and chopped anchovy was liberally distributed across the whole thing, rendering it inedible. It's Hillside so I get that eating out here is reckless - but is it unrealistic given Melbourne's great reputation for food that a proprietor outside the metro area might actually make an effort and prepare something interesting and to request? I'll try the next place along next time but not hopeful.

You know this authentic tasty pizza taste, when you get to taste the amazing pizza sauce and the melting cheese the generous toppings urban pizza project exceeded my expectations, thank you very much for your efforts.
