Went there to have my lunch from their “tapas” menu today.
I ordered smoky sweet potato hummus, and spiced chicken bites.
I received sweet potato wedges instead of hummus, and the lady who claimed she is the owner said there is no hummus today, and if I am happy to take the wedges, and I said that’s fine.
Then instead of spiced chicken bites, I received satay chicken skewers. I did not mention it, as I understood it’s a busy day and I can survive with what I’ve got. The story started on checking out. For pot roasted lamb I had expected something succulent, tender and moist. Instead it was dry, stringy and tasteless. I was obliged to leave at least thirty dollars worth of this expensive dish, still on the plate.

The food at Va Tutto has been exquisite on each visit.

I enjoyed my dinner here and found the food to be delicious. I found the service somewhat lacking and the pricing of dishes inconsistent; some dishes were reasonably-priced and some were rather overpriced. Service is on the slow side so don't come when you're rushed for time. The service is not particularly welcoming which can be off-putting. This is indeed a pity as the food is lovely.

The staff here is the rudest "so and so" ever. I wanted to purchase a gift voucher but the staff flat out refused to sell me one because they were in a hurry to go home and no-one else in the restaurant knew how to process them. Can you believe that? they actually said NO to my money!!
