Arriving in Australia only six short years ago, Italian chefs Massimo Bortolazzo and Lorenzo Spezzamonte have brought the authentic flavours of their homeland some fifteen thousand kilometers with them to Queenslands' quiet suburb of Clayfield.

Even by visiting their website, which has Italian and English language options, I felt more culturally enriched than I did after visiting some other local quote-un-quote "Italian" restaurants. Perfect for functions and large dining parties, the long wooden tables topped with crisp white table cloths can hold more than their fair share of dishes. Be sure to try the scallops. Bellisimo!

This is more than a slice of Italy, it's a whole hearted chunk. Treat yourself, it's cheaper than flying to Rome. ( Bookings recommended).
