Virgin Active

Love Virgin Active Gyms. They are my favourite. If you have a full account you can go to any of them so I got to visit this place when i was in the area. The pool here is probably the best one that I've seen and they have nice yoga rooms.

Its a good gym for a quick workout but it can get very busy, though it is nice and big.

Large gym, plenty of space, but they don't employ professional cleaners so it can get nasty during flu season if you use the free weights. There are other options locally with just as much space and they are cheaper and cleaner...overall ok

I've visited this venue a number of times but am not a member. The facilities are first-class. The staff are on the most very part friendly and when called upon for assistance helpful. most have a very high level of expertise. The amenities are excellent and cleanliness is kept to the highest standard. Lockers are available and their use along with other change-room facilities are convenient and helpful. Parking and access via the lift is great. There are child minding facilities for those that require them at certain hours. The options available for training are superb, with classes, weights, cardio, spin, zumba, you name it they have it. The pool, spa and sauna are an extra bonus. There is even a gym area set-aside for new users to get used to equipment to ensure they feel comfortable without having to mix it with the regular users.
