Cake Shop
Vita Patisserie
Over the weekend I visited the new emporium building which provided a walkway to Melbourne Central. It has been years since Ive been to this place and wow what a transformation. The food court dome looks amazing, there was a variety of food options to choose from and everything just looks so well presented and the interior design is so modern and fresh looking compared to what I had remembered. We had lunch at a small caf called Vita Patisserie, nice little caf offering a number of premade sandwiches and some pasties. A number of sweets, all seems to be quite well priced at least for the city. Sweets were from $4.60 and bread rolls were from $7.90 each. I had the chicken mayonnaise avocado toasted, with a cheesecake with a coffee a small at $3.80. It was quite filling which I initially didnt think so, the food court was quite nice and didnt actually make you feel like you were sitting in one.
