This is the best newsagent I have been to in a long time, the staff always make you feel welcome and are always happy to help, they are very friendly and polite. It's lovely to still have businesses and people like this in the community, I have several other newsagents I could go to but I will always come here!
Today I went into Walton Bridge Newsagency to redeem two of the BBC EARTH David Attenborough Wildlife Collection CDs, currently being offered with The Courier Mail. One coupon was today's, and one was a few days ago, which I had not yet collected. The staff in the store faffed around a bit behind the counter, finally giving me today's CD. Then they told me that they could not give me the other one because it was from tomorrow's newspaper! Then they told me that it may not actually be from tomorrow's newspaper but from the day after tomorrow! I ask you! How on earth could I have torn a token from a newspaper that wasn't even out yet! I tried to point this out to them but they flatly refused to sell me the CD! Thank goodness there is another newsagent in The Gap where I redeemed my CD with absolutely no drama.
Best newsagent around! Brilliant service, great people, make you feel like you're known and remembered each week. I buy my papers there each Saturday when it would be easier to go the Supermarket and get them - I go purely due to the fantastic service. Thanks so much!!
