Colin is a great Vet, 5 stars to him, however I was disappointed with a rude receptionist/nurse on my visit. I was the second person there and was told to 'sit down' and wait until called as I had no appointment with a definite unfriendly tone. My cat was sick post operatively (surgery performed there at the clinic) and needed to be seen that day. I am a paying customer who did not provoke this person and I don't think anyone needs to be spoken to like that. As a professional health worker my self, this would be unacceptable behaviour no matter how busy you are. Just because this is warrawong, people think you can treat people here with less respect then anywhere else. I will be going elsewhere in the future.
Absolutely terrific! The staff were wonderful and so was the vet - my cat was very very ill, and they done everything to squeeze us in on a fully booked out sunday. Their prices are VERY reasonable and they are very loving and have genuine care for your animal, you can tell they're not just there for the money. Definately my new vet.
Colin has been our Vet for 30 years. He has seen us through the care of my childhood dogs Tessie and Sheba, my family of cats [11] the cats we rescued [35 of them] and his care, assessment diagnosis and treatment and humanity is beyond exceptional. He has always been there when we have rescued injured wildlife and birds and his team go out of their way to assist. His team are wonderful and always welcome me . They have gone beyond their roles in looking after my babies in their last weeks and moments and we have shared many a tear. They have cuddled me when I have lost it on the death of my Ginger or Wardrobe or Gravy. When I attend the clinic and wait in the waiting area with many other satisfied families we happily chat and share stories. We are a family at the Clinic and this sense of commitment is led by Col and his team. I would like to bottle it and take it with me as we move to Victoria for I fear I will never find another professional service like this for my ...read more
I totally disagree with the last review.I have been taking my cat to Warrawong for the last couple of months. He needed eye surgery, I didnt have the money that week to have it done. Colin really thought that it should be done sooner so he did it and arranged an account for me. The first time I walked in the door. I have NEVER met a more caring, compassionate vet. His prices are the most reasonable I have ever come accross. He would never turn an animal away that needed urgent care. There are hours when animals arent seen, when Dr Pinney is in surgery. I dont go to my doctors without an appointment, why would a vets be different?
