Warren View Hotel

I’m not necessarily going to say that this is a great pub, but it was okay, and reasonably friendly. I guess there wasn’t really all that much about it that really caught my attention, even though they did have a reasonable selection of beers, and a pretty decent beer garden. However, there isn’t really all that much about it that really triggered my imagination. I guess it really comes down to the fact that when I went inside it was, yeah, this was nice, but that was about it. Still, I’d come back for a beer.

I love love love the outdoor oasis that is hidden behind this pub.

The pub food isn't too bad and not too expensive. I'm yet to have a bad meal here.

The interior of this place is nothing to write home about but I really enjoy the courtyard. We go here before gigs at the Enmore for pub food and a few drinks. The food is really good and the drinks are well-priced. The courtyard area is pretty and chill with multi-coloured lights and plenty of seating areas.

having had a recent facelift and courtyard renovation The Warren View, I think, is fast becoming one of the go-to-spots in the Newtown area. It shrugs aside the snooty pretentiousness that plagues many of the other local venues, and instead offers an awesome, relaxed, welcoming vibe. Whether youre after a yarn with the local or the barpeople on a quiet week night, or enjoying a bottle with friends on a bustling saturday in Newtown's BEST pub-courtyard; Warren View has it in spades. I really like how inclusive it is; All sorts of demographics and characters flock to this popular pub. My new local.
