Powered and unpowered sites are available in the Warrumbungle National Park which features spectacular remnant volcanic landforms, an abundance of quiet native animals and graded walks with easy access. At Camp Blackman facilities include untreated rainwater, hot showers, laundry basins, toilets and gas BBQs. Camp Wambelong offers camping, toilets and untreated rainwater. There are no numbered sites therefore no bookings can be taken. Group facilities are also available separately. Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Centre is open daily for great advice on walks and activities. The Centre includes a shop that supplies water, milk, bread, ice, confectionery and refershments.Picnic and barbecue (electric) facilities are available at Canyon Picnic Area. No pets allowed. Park Fees apply. Visitors need to take their own firewood for campfires (available 5 km from Coonabarabran on the road to the park) and follow any fire restrictions.
