Waterford Tavern

I've been here a few times now and the food is always fabulous. It's rarely busy though, which I find odd. Would definitely recommend a meal here.

A hidden gem, wouldnt expect to find the tav at a shopping centre, but none the least, it is a great and classy place to relax.

The Waterford Tavern has just taken over from the Hippo Creek, so their food menu has changed to reflect more of a pub style menu. The food menu items are on the pricier side, however if you go for the lunch time black board specials, the prices are much more reasonable and offer a range of five menu choices to choose from including a vegetarian option. The Waterford stocks your regular drink items, nothing out of this world, however it does try to promote various cocktails to try during happy hour. Live band on Sunday Afternoons. Venue is clean, but lacks a little atmosphere.

Fantastic tavern, wonderful food and reasonable prices.

Good for local students, even hosts karaoke twice a week, a quiz nite and poker.



Especially recommend the surf and turf!!
