Watervale Fish and Chips

On this particular day, I wanted to get some chips for dinner and thought of going to the nearby fish and chip shop. When I walked in, the layout of the store and decor gave me an indication that business had been running for a number of years. I placed my order and asked the owner to cook my chips a little longer as I like them slightly crunchy. It seemed like a quiet day for the business as I was the only person in store. Nothing really stands out with the level of service at fish and chip stores other than the usual politeness. Once home, unwrapped the paper covering, the chips were seasoned well and the crunchiness was spot on. The chips were good that there wasn’t anything left for dinner as the family kept picking at it. One thing I forgot to mention, what’s a fish and chip shop without their very own fish tank? Never asked whether the one in the tank was part of the menu.
