Given Sydney is on the coast, and has access to some incredible fish, the lack of fishmongers city wise is incredible. Either you have to accept sub standard fish, or go to the fishmarkets which is never an enjoyable experience. People who live in Willoughby though are incredibly lucky to have on their doorstep the best fishmonger in Sydney - I reckon even better than the fish markets. Everything is super fresh - their range is incredible. They have unopened oysters, beautiful sashimi and super friendly staff. No idea why Food Lovers Guide gave them such a bad serve - always been lovely to us. Just wishes we lived closer and could have this as our local.

Salmon. Fresh Salmon. Baked in the oven, fried, or consumed by the fistful, this place sells great fillets. The other fish are fresh and decent too, but nothing beats a fresh piece of salmon and theirs is great!

Not happy....bought 2 snapper fillets , asked for them to be deboned , the fillets were taken round the back for deboning, reappeared and were wrapped , at home found they were full of bones . Took the bones back today , management simply couldn't care less. Will boycott this p[lace in future .
