West Beach Bathers Pavilion
A surfie haven on the St Kilda foreshoreThis once empty and rundown pavilion located right on the beach has been saved from demolitian by the owner of the Fairfield Boat House, Zig van der Sluys, and has been beautifully restored to accommodate a surf and kiteboarding store and relaxed cafe. Hearty breakfasts, burgers and fish & chips are some of the food on offer - simple, cooked to order and perfect refueling fodder for the kiteboarders, surfies and beachgoers that are flocking to this haven.

I had a wonderful time at a function and returned for breakfast on the beach. West Beach does a great breakfast and I found everything to be tasty and portion sizes were good. The views are superb and staff is friendly and unpretentious. It does get very busy and is the place to see and be seen.
