Stayed here for holidays. Awesome casino! Very big. Great service and the cocktails were awesome

Wrest Point was Australia's first legal casino when it opened and it exudes the old world charm it sought to replicate (much more Monte Carlo than Vegas!). The casino itself is definitely worth a look and the hotel is well-positioned in town and with nice views. The revolving restaurant has lovely views also. Some of the rooms' dcor and colour schemes are somewhat dated but the hotel is welcoming and comfortable with clean amenities.

You won't have fantasies about Ocean's 11 in here. You might be reminded of the pub down the road with pokies. It finds a comfortable balance between common and average. The food is nothing special. The casino is worth a visit for the hotel, the view, and the events. Probably not for the sad old ladies on the pokies.
