An absolute disaster of a day. There is not a single sign in the park. Staff send us in circles. Staff were clueless as to when we could purchase food. Considering, they smug you for all your food and water at the gates as if your travelling through border security. We had food for toddlers, rusks and crisps etc and we were questioned repetitively about taking them in even with a baby and 3 kids that can't even talk yet. Really?
Don't even get me started about the lines and wait times for simple things such as hot chips. I was told it'd be a 1.5 hour wait on the hot chips I just swiped on the arm band system they have there. I just laughed. And then, 2 hours of lingering around .. 'SURF SHACK' with the electronic buzzer, waiting, I had to go ...read more
I have to agree with the other review so far. We waited in line for 1.5 hours to get a ticket. Another line for 20 mins to get a locker. The first line for a slide for 1.5 hours. So nearly 3.5 hours of waiting before we even got wet. We got a season gold pass each but had to pay for a locker because the computers were down. I now see that the lockers may not be included with a gold pass which is not the same as what was advertised before. The food is rubbish. The whole experience is very poor and unorganized. Ended up waiting in line for over an hour for the second ride and left a short time later to go and get something descent to eat. Will give it one more go after the school holidays just because I got a season pass but would definitely not recommend it to anyone that values their time, money or sanity.
1. Forcing people to stand in line for 40 minutes for overpriced food after removing all drinks and food from bags at entry
2. Not enough shelter at the lines, ie burning feet.
3. 1 to 2 hours of wait in lines to get on a 15 second ride
4. Lockers $10/$12
5. VERY expensive tickets
6. Not enough seating, except for the toilets
7. Very busy, standing room only
8. Lines to get in, lines to park, lines to pick up/drop off
9. Not enough staff
Whoever is running this park has some really big issues to fix .
