The Quiet AlternativeThe Whyalla Caravan Park is located on the southern side of Whyalla, 300 metres off the Lincoln Highway. It offers peaceful surroundings, spacious pwered/unpowered sites with plenty of room for large caravans and boats and excellent amenities.
Whyalla Caravan Park also offers self contained Cabins, Cottages and Units with reverse cycle air conditioning and television.
The Park offers free gas BBQs and camp kitchen facilities as well as a laundry and drying area.

This park is a quiet park although it has many semipermanent mine workers. I has been a run down place but has had new management for a month. The ablution blocks are now more modern and spotless and the laundry facilities are the same. Reception staff is cheerful and we walked to the sites and given a choice. Sites are of course gravelly, you are in the outback but are quite large and more importantly level. The grounds are in need of a spruce up but this will happen. Prices are the cheapest we have experienced in our three month trip. Well worth a go.
