Wig & Pen Tavern & Brewery

This place is kind of legendary for a lot of people, I've always enjoyed my time there when staying around Canberra. Hooray for taste tests and microbrews!

The Wig and Pen sounds like it is designed to attract every lawyer in 2000 miles. In fact it mainly seems to be a sort of Real Ale crowd Fair Isle Sweaters, people who are bit folksy. Not bad but the Boot and Flogger was better!!!

5 stars for the award winning beer. ....wouldn't go there for the food.

Mmmm Wiggy Pen. It's a pretty top bar, usually very quiet and intimate. Standout features are their home-brewed beers, which are of a high quality, but unfortunately also a high price. If you're after a VB, look elsewhere. You can also get away with being a bloke and wearing a cardigan and a scarf and not look out of place.
