Woodgate Beach General Store And Post Office

Seriously the worst chips I have ever had. The fish was straight out the freezer, perfect triangles! Even the kids said it was terrible. 30 bucks for a load of old rubbish.

Very old style general store. If you've forgotten anything on your beach holiday in Woodgate, you'll probably find it here. Limited groceries, greasy takeaway options and thongs, sarongs and sunscreen. What more could you want??
Real estate office, post office and laundromat out back.

Sunday lunchtime purchased fish and chips, drinks and sweets from general store on the Esplanade, did not eat the fish only ate the chips, 6pm go back ask for burger and steak sandwich, can't have that the staff said only fried food or pizza, I ordered pizza and chips and said I would add drink when the food was ready, we waited on the side where they indicate for you to wait, after app. 20 mins I went near the counter thinking it would soon be ready, the staff said would you like to pay for that now, I said is it ready? staff said No you haven't paid so I did not process the order, I said forget it.
