Woodmans Hill Motor Inn

This is a great aussie motel with traditional service. I came to Ballarat from Melbourne and it was practicly the first motel as you enter town. The good thing about this motel is that it is in a quiet area which is surrounded by bushland, commanding some lovely views over the fields on the outskirts of Ballarat. The rooms are incredibly confortable and although dated in the 80's style - they are EXCEPTIONALLY clean and everything that you require is there for you. Its almost like a home away from home and it was just what I needed as I came on a cold winters night. Went straight in the room had a hot shower and watched TV as I ordered Pizza. And it was just the right place to relax, free of traffic noise and wait for it - a GREAT REASONABLE PRICE of under $100 dollars. I can't fault it. I will go back and treat it as my "home away from home" in Ballarat.
