Average price $2.50 each....cheaper than chips. Customer service a priority.We have stock up to the rafters. We have just about every category...fiction and nonfiction. Some categories are: thriller, romance, biography, Australian, children's, music, westerns, textbooks, spiritual and new age. We also have a huge selection of science fiction, horror and true crime. Each month we have half price specials in a category...ring to find out what's on half price this month.
We are avid readers ourselves and we are happy to chat and discuss your favorites and suggest other authors.....you are welcome to browse without pressure to buy.
We have a great western section and encourage swaps for 50cents or you can buy some cheap to get started.
There are also lots of large print books at $2.50.
You can return the books when read and a credit for your next purchase is given....we are into recycling and so even books which were not originally purchased in our store are also given this credit.
Our hours are flexible but generally core hours are between 10.30am and 4.00pm on weekdays. We live close to the shop and so are happy to pop up and open at other times if you like to ring. Saturdays are optional by request and we offer a mobile book service where we will deliver the books to your home. We will aso pick up from your home.
In keeping with our recyling theme, we have a free section where books (eg computer stuff/ readers Digest) are available to take away.

Thanks jennifer I took your advice, visited the shop and was very impressed. I was after westerns because they are hard to get. At this shop you could buy for $2 or swap for 50cents. I didn't have any to swap but $2 is cheap enough and I will bring swappers next time I come. They certainly have a big collection of books of all kinds

There was a lot of stock and I got three books I had been wanting for ages and they didnt cost an arm and a leg.. They were a very organised shop but the parking is a problem.So I took off half a star for that. I parked in the hotel next door and you can park around the corner or at the railway station..They were really friendly and knew their stock. It was hard to find them as they only have a doorway to the main street but certainly worth finding them.I will be back.
