My friend and I drove down to XS Espresso in Wetherill Park after hearing a number of positive reviews about the ‘freak shake’ – so we had to give it a look. Upon arrival at the Café, we noticed it was packed and a line-up to get in. We were kindly greeted by someone recording names and numbers and advising us of a wait time. We put our name down and awaited eagerly, they also asked numerous times if we would like a drink while we waited. We were seated outside on a warmish day. Myself and my friend ordered one of the ‘freak shakes’ to share – and we are glad we did. The shake came out and we were both in awe! It was enormous, it was a chocolate shake with a Nutella cronut, chocolate wafer sticks, kit kat, cream, and caramello koala on top. On a big blue plate with chocolate absolutely all over the plate. This place is always super packed and there is a wait.
The shakes I have to say are amazing! Always love going here when I'm craving something sweet.
Service is okay but the guys at the North Parramatta store are a bit more customer attentive.
Food is okay but the dessert and shake menu definitely outshine any of the savour options.
Prices aren't too bad but the shakes can get a bit expensive depending on what you get.
Great cafe we visited while we were in Sydney. A few friends from Melbourne reccomend as well as friends who lived in Sydney also suggested XS Expresso to meet and catch up. So we enjoyed a nice breakfast here on a nice day. Very busy but service was great. Staff were quick and friendly and acknowledge when we entered the door. Presentation looked really good as we were waiting for our meals we can see other tables who ordered before us being served made us so hungry because it looked so good and when our meals did come it was really good. Perfect size for breakfast. The shakes and smothies are a must here. Goes really well with breakfast, all fresh and refreshing. Totally reccomend as i will be back.
