My boyfriend found this hotel through a web-site that enables you to book accommodation at the last minute at discounted rates. The hotel is stated as being a four star establishment with a room rate that gave us the impression that the hotel was nicer that what we actually found it to be.
The room itself was clean but very small and not at all what I would consider as being 4 star. The worst aspect was having to share the bathroom. At the prices charged, I thought we would get our own bathroom but we did not.
The room we stayed in was also very noisy - as it overlooked Oxford St. and Hyde Park.
Good points about the hotel were the 24 hour reception and the friendly service.
The free breakfast was a standard Continental breakfast (i.e. toast and cereal, juice, tea and coffee) at the cafe downstairs.
