Celebrated our 25 anniversary at this beautifuly located restaurant with spectacular views. Our table had 2 roses for our special day , very touching to see that . Host greeted us with a smile and knew before hand what to say . Complimentary sparkling wine with strawberries was a kind gesture . Soon arrived those memorable scallop dumplings and crispy tempura prawns for which we have to go back for sure. Special of the day Pork ribs with sticky bbq sauce (as mentioned) were amazing and the pasta with local mussels made our day worth . Highly recommend to spend your special day . I think pre booking made it even better . Thumbs up to management .
We were so looking forward to our special lunch at Yaringa. We had fond memories of a delightful meal several years ago, then under different management as it turned out. The mains also took ages to arrive & what a disappointment! We had ordered 2 baby snappers but were told only one was left. My husband then ordered the kangaroo fillet. My snapper arrived soon after, and it looked like it had been cooked in a microwave. There was no browning of the skin, no flavoursome herbs; instead a pile of pureed ...read more
Went with my partner on a "date night".Whilst this place is a bit out of the way,it is certainly worth the drive. Our waiter was great ,very attentive and friendly. We had entree' and mains each, all were just lovely. My husband had the crackled Pork belly which he said was good and I had veal which was very tender. the restaurant itself inside looks amazing at night with fiary lights and an open fire, which wasnt alight the night we were there, but I'd imagine would be faboulous on a cold winter's night. Will certainly go back at some stage .
