Zocalo Mexican Restaurant

We had a dinner for three tonight, booked a table for 19.30 arriving 10 minutes early, about 1/3 of the tables were full. Two other tables of two came in after us but their order was taken prior to ours and in fact both tables had finished their meals before ours arrived. My seafood meal was extremely hot and maybe over cooked, one of the other two meals came with mine and then the other a few minutes later.
The meals were ok but not fantastic and doubtful we would return anytime soon.
It was very disappointing because we have waiting for quiet some time for the restaurant to be open when we have wanted to eat there.

Terrific chimichungas! Don't know what I'm talking about? Definitely try one for yourself - a tortilla wrap filled with cheese and your choice of meat or black beans then fried and served with rice and salsa. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Yummy!! Just a walk from the safety bay beach, lovely decore and huge meals. A little pricey but the size of the meals makes up for it.
