Resthaven supports carers of older people to have a planned rest or break (respite) from their caring role, and to maintain their own physical and emotional health.
Resthaven offers planned and emergency respite options to carers of older people across metropolitan Adelaide, in the Adelaide Hills, Murray Bridge, Mannum, Limestone Coast, the Riverland and Fleurieu.
The support we offer is flexible; choose from day or overnight respite in a variety of settings, either at home or at one of our cottages or residential sites.
To sustain your emotional health, we also offer counselling, therapy, social and support groups.
Whatever support you require, you can be confident that Resthaven staff offer caring high quality services. Cottage and overnight respite prepare homemade meals in a home style environment in the southern metropolitan area.
We are highly trained and experienced in meeting the needs of older people, including those who have problems associated with memory loss or confusion.
