All of our programs and services are provided by more than 500 staff with a very wide range of skills. A vast number of care workers, allied and other health professionals, maintenance teams, administrators and of course our invaluable volunteers enable our residents and clients to live a good life every day by delivering services with integrity, respect and empathy.
ECH has over 1,630 units in 100 independent retirement living villages. We have units north and south, near the sea or the hills, and within the leafy eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Sites are in well-serviced and established suburbs around metropolitan Adelaide and in some regional areas, close to transport routes, shopping, recreational and medical complexes. Some of our sites are large and have their own community facilities, but the majority consist of less than 20 units.
Rental units are also available.
ECH Community Services supports older people living in their own home to enable them to continue doing so for as long as possible. This may be by providing services to help at home, such as cleaning or personal care, or through physical therapy, exercise or socialisation at one of our centres. ECH services are provided within our Enhancing Independence model of services which aims to build on strengths and assist clients to remain independent.
