After growing up on Sydney's Northern Beaches I decided to pursue studies in nutrition as I had a passion for health and wellbeing. I studied to be a dietitian at Sydney University and went on to work in a range of different clinical areas in some of Sydney's major hospitals. I always wanted to work in private practice, therefore started a small private clinic on Saturdays.  I didn't find I had all the answers to helping my clients, family, friends and myself to achieve optimal health and therefore undertook new studies - most notably in Functional Nutrition, which is a holistic and investigative approach to health and wellbeing. I also have taken a course in the non-diet approach to weight management.  I am a big believer in mind body connection and a whole food approach to health. But most of all, I know its important to individualise my recommendations to suit the life and needs of my clients.  Since having my daughter Olive and going through the fertility, pregnancy and post natal period I have a huge passion for women's health. Likewise I am working more and more in the domain of pediatric nutrition - looking at growth, starting solids and fussy eating.
