What is Kinesiology
Kinesiology is a client centred wellness therapy which aims to remove the cause of a problem so the body can heal itself and the patient can move on independently. Our minds and bodies are part of an integrated whole that can become disconnected as we journey through life. Stress or trauma affecting us on any one of theses levels will inevitably affect the way we feel and function. Physical or mental illness is often the result of months or years spent compensating for stress patterns stored within the psycho-physical field we experience as the body.
How it works:
Understanding the links between various muscle groups and their relationships to cells, organs, hormones and energy flows in the body, a qualified practitioner will identify the underlying causes of the stressor using a unique and non-invasive system of bio-feedback, i.e. by monitoring responses to muscle testing. By this means, Kinesiology can be quite specific and very quickly determine the best strategy to reinstate the bodys balance.
At subtle levels the client is already aware of the imbalance within their system. What Kinesiology is able to do, in a therapeutic sense, is to facilitate the full conscious awareness of that information in order to assist a profound and natural healing process.
