Established by Dr Lauren Purdey in 2018, Oak Tree Osteopathy was created with the aim of providing thoughtful hands-on care in a compassionate and relaxed vibe.
Dr Lauren Purdey's special interest is in pre and post natal care and women's. Lauren has also undertaken additional study in treating children and babies using very gentle techniques and happily works with this age group.
The prevention and management of sports and fitness-related injuries is also an important part of Lauren's focus in practice. She utilises osteopathic hands-on treatment in conjunction with Rock taping and exercise prescription using PhysiApp, which helps tailor a patients exercise regime and monitor their progress.
Dr Sarah Martorella has a special interest in the care of older adults for the management of ailments such as osteoarthritis, and muscle pain in shoulders, hips, knees and the back. Her other focus is in childhood and adolescent musculoskeletal health. Sarah incorporates hands on treatment with exercise prescription and self help strategies to improve active engagement in life.
Dr Chanelle Mastronardo has a particular interest in the management of acute and chronic pain. She has completed a thesis on the effect of chronic conditions on skeletal muscle health and from this has a thorough understanding and personal experience in helping patients through the challenges of chronic headaches, migraines, and neck pain.
