Weekly art classes for adults, school holiday workshops for children and specialised painting retreats.
Elena Parashko provides a spacious, relaxed and friendly environment where students are encouraged to explore their creative talents at their own pace and level of skill development. In adults' art classes, students are encouraged to select their own painting projects to work on to suit their area of interest. Aspects of art theory are taught within this practical context. In childrens' school holiday workshops, students are encouraged to explore their own originality within the context of the workshop topic. Elenas extensive teaching experience and training ensures a high quality learning opportunity. Course content is flexible and will depend on the interests and needs of students in each class.
For those who cannot attend class in person due to distance or other circumstances, interactive painting demonstrations are available via email or post.
Qualifications: Certificate in Visual Arts, Bachelor of Education, Masters in Adult Education.
Experience: Over 20 years teaching in TAFE colleges, primary schools and high schools. Award winning artist with a lifetime experience in painting, exhibiting and selling artwork. Writing step by step painting demonstrations and art related features for a variety of Australian magazines and publications in UK and USA. Teaching seascape painting workshops at Daku Resort in Fiji.
