Red Ochre Workshops Inc is an Aboriginal owned and operated not for profit organisation located in the Newcastle region of NSW. Red Ochre provides mobile contemporary Aboriginal painting workshops from children 5yrs to adults. Numbers can vary from minimum of 10 to maximum of 20.however if you have larger group we shuttle the workshop for eg: 20 people 9am-12pm 20 for the following 3hrs. Average cost to provide a 6hrs workshop:
Prices start at $20 per head equipment included
$150 teacher fee preparation and facilitation
$100 assistant fee setup/clean up and facilitation
Red Ochre also has recognised Aboriginal Artists who paint contemporary Aboriginal artworks for sale:ranging from canvas paintings,didgeridoo,claps sticks,boomerangs,wind chimes,emu callers,jewellery,framed pictures with certificate of authenticity and artist profile.
Red Ochre teaches contemporary Aboriginal art to Aboriginal and Non Aboriginal people to gap the close and step positively toward reconciliation.
