Rachel Fentiman, a Maleny local for over 20 overs, has been sculpting for over a decade. Rachel Fentiman Designs was born from the premise of ?take only photographs, leave only footprints? with her adornable art pieces being inspired by Mary Cairncross Rainforest, where her little art studio is nestled. After a live-changing event in 2011, Rachel decided life was too short, and jewellery sculpting became an obsession!
Every piece is one-of-a-kind and made from resin which is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic, light-weight and durable. She hands paints each piece with a water-based paint that is also very durable.
Wearable art is not Rachel?s only creative endeavour. She is also a member of Suncoast Repertory Theatre, regularly performing around the Coast, and has many musical pursuits.
Growing up in a creative family meant she was never told to get a ?normal job? and always encouraged to explore whatever artistic medium captured her attention.
