Uncle Tom's Pies was established in 1933 and since then has become Byron Shire's iconic pies shop. Back in the day this was THE spot that all the local surfers would meet before or after a surf. For most other people it was the only stop to make before Brisbaine and it it fondly remembered by all as the best place for a pie when on a road trip.
Now Uncle Tom's has been renewed and refurbished but still maintains all the original recepies and traditions of the delicious hand made pies. Fear not as they also offer a wide variety of sandwiches, healthy salads, cakes, slices and other treats along with the regions BEST coffee.
Situated at on Gulgan Road at the Gateway to Mullumbimby, simply take the Mullumbimby turn off from the highway and you will find this little slice of paradise. Why not make a quick stop off for some fuel, a great pie an a fantastic coffee and enjoy some old fashioned country hospitality.
