Rip Charters offers Fishing Charters in Bass Strait, the Rip and Port Phillip Bay departing Sorrento and Queenscliff upon arrangement. Locally owned and operated and located in picturesque Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula, Rip Charters was established in 1986 and with 30 years experience, are the longest running charter boat business in the area. We now have 2 sport boats, Big Blue and Rip Runner which are licensed to fish in Bass Strait and are equipped with all the necessary fish finding, navigational, communication and safety gear. Both are specially furbished for comfort and safety. They are designed and rigged for fishing and fully covered for all weather conditions to ensure your fishing experience is uninterrupted by sun or rain. Also aboard our trusty Bay Fishing boat Kestrel III, which is a favorite amongst families. Fishing in Port Phillip Bay, these trips generally have great catches of different species on most occasions such as Flathead, Gummy Sharks, Squid, Snapper, Salmon and various other reef species. All our boats are available for individual or group bookings, corporate or recreational, beginners or experienced anglers. Quality rods, reels, bait and tackle supplied. Tea and coffee provided.
