In 2015 Darwins Barra Base will be expanding its Business to give to our clients the choice of Two Levels of Extended Fishing Safaris - Lodge Accommodated and Mothership, as well as 1 Day Barra or Bluewater Fishing Trips.
From Feb-Apr 2015, we are offering BARRA RUN OFF Fishing; both 2-6 Day Lodge Accommodated (at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge) and 3-6 Day Mothership Safaris (anchored at Tommy Cut Creek). Day Trips will be offered around the Safari dates.
From May-Nov 2015, we are offering BARRA & BLUEWATER Fishing; both 2-6 Day Lodge Accommodated (at Dundee Lodge or Dundee Place Beach House) and 3-6 Day Mothership Safaris (anchored at Cape Ford or Peron Islands). Day Trips will be offered around Safari dates.
From Sep-Oct 2015, we offer Build Up BARRA & BLUEWATER Fishing; both 2-6 Day Lodge Accommodated (at Dundee Lodge or Dundee Place Beach House) and 3-6 Day Mothership Safaris (anchored at Cape Ford or Little Moil). Day Trips will be offered around Safari dates.
We have four custom built guide boats from 5.8-7.5m, with a maximum of 4 clients or 5 if a single booking.
Additionally, we can provide purpose-built bed and breakfast lodge in the heart of Darwin at Darwin Bed & Breakfast. Our B&B is designed for the traveller and fly-in market, who wish to participate in a fully tailored and guided, extended safari and daily fishing trips, or for those who simply wish to enjoy the benefits of a bed and breakfast.
There are spacious family and group guestrooms complete with ensuite, split system air conditioning, television and DVD player and separate guestsâ?? kitchen/dining room. Enjoy a swim in the 10 metre swimming pool/spa and the fantastic water gardens makes for a cool relaxing area for barbecues and entertaining.
Self-serve Continental Breakfast is included. Complimentary Airport Transfers (if arriving between 8.00am to 7.00pm) for those with a confirmed Fishing Trip or Safari.
