Built in 1859, the Jondaryan Woolshed is the oldest operating woolshed in Queensland and the first purpose built shearing shed in Australia. The Woolshed as a venue offers a unique setting for weddings, corporate functions, caravan clubs, large groups and school visits. The Museum Complex covers 12 acres and features historic buildings, machinery, equipment and collections.
The Damper Hut Caf is open every day to enjoy our authentic billy tea and damper, coffee, homemade delights and various lunch options. Stay even longer and lodge overnight in the pet friendly caravan park, powered sites, campsite or creek camping, self contained cottages, rustic cabins and original shearers quarters for a taste of the real outback country experience.
