Victorian American Imports was established in 1995. We are an approved Registered Automotive Workshop under the Federal Government Department of Transport. The Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme (RAWS) allows for the importation and supply of used specialist or enthusiast vehicles to the market in Australia. Under this scheme only a RAW can import a used vehicle into Australia. RAWS arrangements do not apply for vehicles manufactured before 1 January 1989 or vehicles that are to be imported under the Personal Import Scheme.
Victorian American Imports was the first RAW to obtain approval from The Department of Transport for the Chev Silverado when the industry was regulated in 2003.We currently hold approval to convert a range of Chev Silverado, Chev Suburban, Chev Tahoe, Chev Camaro, Chev Avalanche. GMC Sierra/Denali, GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade, Dodge RAM.

New additions to our business include a vinyl dashboard skinning machine and a Water Transfer Printing facility.
The vinyl skinning machine vacuum seals a vinyl layer onto the dashboard. We can also colour code the dash to match the interior trim of the vehicle.
The Water Transfer Printing or hydro-graphics enables us to print the latest and most popular film patterns on a wide variety of materials including 3D objects, with patterns such as carbon fiber, camouflage, skulls, Flames, holographic designs and much more. We are able to print on motor vehicle interior trims sections, motorbike faring/tanks, guards, engine covers, alloy wheels, sporting goods and more.
