Camplify is an innovative peer-to-peer caravan hire and RV sharing service developed by an Aussie team of camping & caravanning lovers who saw a need for something new. Something kind of like an Airbnb, but for caravans.The idea came from CEO Justin Hales? childhood love of caravanning.
Justin and his family used to holiday in their 1980 Viscount caravan every chance they got. However, on one of these trips Justin?s family were ran off the road and had an accident. After this experience, his parents made the decision to sell their caravan and finish their love affair with caravanning.
As an adult, Justin wanted to recapture this love affair. For him though, buying a caravan just wasn?t an option. Justin decided we would develop an effective and innovative way to link holidaymakers with caravan, camper trailer, motorhome or campervan owners. And so, Camplify was born.
In Australia, there are over 500,000 caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and campervans. On average, these RVs are being used for only 6 weeks of the year. Now, thanks to a partnership with the NRMA (via the NRMA Jumpstart Innovation program) there is a way for owners to share their RV with campers all over Australia? and earn some handy extra income in the process!
