We are located on the grounds of The Princess Alexandra Hospital, Cnr Ipswich Rd & O'Keefe Street, Woolloongabba. We are a convenient distance from Centro Buranda shopping centre as well as the new Bus Way.
The centre boasts a new Emergent Curriculum which focuses on learning through natural curiosity, doing and self-directing, not through sitting before a teacher who imparts knowledge.
Our educators facilitate learning and extend as much as possible right there and then as the child's discovery unfolds.
As a result, children will develop a love for learning which will help them succeed in their future education. Their delight and spontaneous wonder should always be the first priority.
This centre is easily accessible for PA Hospital employees as a priority access however is also open to the public. All rooms are fully air conditioned with large play areas designed to inspire and enhance your child's imagination. There is also a parent's room conveniently located in the centre, where mothers can breastfeed their children throughout the day, or where parents can pop in for a visit with their children.
We cater for children from birth to School age and the centre is currently taking expressions of interest in Before and After School Programmes as well as Vacation Care.
The PA Hospital Early Education Centre has qualified, friendly and caring staff who can assist you with any needs that you may have. The staff are committed to continually improving their skills and abilities through study and workshops, which work towards providing the highest quality care and education for your children. The programmes are child based and cater for your child?s individual skills and abilities, as well as promoting a family friendly environment where children can feel safe and loved.
