Hello my name is Monique, I am a certified family day care educator with the YMCA family day care service. I am located in coombabah where I offer a safe, fun, loving environment for your children to learn and grow. I have a diploma in childcare, a blue card and am trained in first aid, cpr, asthma and anaphylaxis and child protection. Daycare is simply a smaller version of kindergarten with all of the same regulations and centrelink benefits offered to families.
I run a very successful daycare and currently have positions available for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. I also offer care over school holidays and before and after school care.
Our daily activities include many craft projects such as drawing, painting, sensory play, music, sustainable learning and many assorted creative activities. We have outdoor playtime with sandpit, jungle gym, play house, water play, basketball, cricket and ride on toys.
I offer various learning activities such as writing, drawing, speech, flash cards, puzzles, memory games, storytime and more on a daily basis. There is a park at the end of my street which is safely gated with a lock which I often take the children to using a pram and a safe travel path to allow them some extra outdoor play.
